Out of Court Disposals and Restorative Justice Partnership and Development Manager (Grade I) Criminal Justice & Custody Branch

An exciting opportunity is open for the right candidate as the  Out of Court Resolutions and Restorative Justice Partnership and Development Manager.

This role involves managing  and developing the framework of offender  pathways and interventions  used across Greater Manchester  to reduce reoffending  and support victims of lower level crime.

Working closely with GMCA , service providers and criminal justice partners, the manager will strengthen and  develop the use of out of court resolutions across Greater Manchester. They will  play a key role in ensuring  GMP is ready for  the implementation of the new legislation for adult cautions due in 2026.

The right candidate will be enthusiastic and informed about diversion for adults,  problem solving offending behaviour  and supporting vulnerable people.  They will  be experienced in liaising with key stakeholders, both internally and externally and providing high level reports  and briefings to senior officers. They will be passionate about driving performance and raising the profile of out of court resolutions , ensuring that victims of crime have a voice  and offenders are given opportunities for rehabilitation.
