Location:

This role offers flexibility and can be based at one of our offices in Northallerton, Harrogate, York, or Scarborough with the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements.

Contract: Temporary – 12 months 

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £29,109 – £31,296 (NYP Scale 5)

Role Profile

 

About the Role:
We are seeking a confident and highly organised individual to coordinate the Multi-Agency Tasking and Coordination (MATAC) process across North Yorkshire and York. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective collaboration between local agencies to tackle domestic abuse through structured and timely interventions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for all local agencies involved in MATAC.
  • Develop, maintain, and review MATAC procedures and protocols, including referral thresholds.
  • Organise and administer MATAC meetings, including booking venues, sending invites, and preparing documentation.
  • Prepare and present reports to strategic groups such as the Domestic Abuse Joint Coordinating Group and Making Safe Steering Group.
  • Maintain and update the MATAC case management system and tracking tools.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure understanding and compliance with MATAC responsibilities.
  • Monitor attendance and challenge non-participation where appropriate.
  • Ensure links with other safeguarding groups such as MAPPA and MARAC.
  • Produce performance reports and contribute to the development of procedures and protocols.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Experience working with external agencies
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)

 

Desirable:

  • Experience handling sensitive information
  • Background in multi-agency environments
