- S25-334 Finance Assistant (LC5)
Applications are invited for the post of Finance Assistant within the Financial Accounting Team based at Hutton HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the accountant in the completion of month end processes including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, recharges and other transactions.
- Complete year-end processes in accordance with set timescales for own area of responsibility.
- Assist the accountant in preparing departmental costings, including budgeted posts and investigating budget variances.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, including ensuring budgets are entered correctly onto the financial information system in line with the agreed timetable with guidance from the accountant.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience of management and financial accounting systems and procedures
- Experience of maintaining accurate financial records and following financial business procedures
- Experience of reconciliations, variance analysis and preparing and monitoring of budgets to tight deadlines
- Experience of designing spreadsheets with pivot tables and lookup formulas for analysis and reporting
Vetting and Medical:
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Management vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
