Administrative Assistant - Central Ticket Office
Based at Hyde police station in Tameside, The Central Ticket Office (CTO) is part of our Specialist Operations Branch and is responsible for the administration and processing of Road Safety Camera offences, Fixed Penalties, Traffic Offence Reports and any associated driver awareness courses.
The office deals with the prosecutions of offenders who fail to comply with the Road Traffic Act and oversees the deployment and use of Road Safety Camera equipment with the aim of reducing those killed and seriously injured on the roads of Greater Manchester.
The Administration Assistant plays a key role in the CTO, dealing with high volumes of data input and offence correspondence together with related tasks such as call centre cover, court file preparation, scanning and postal duties.
We are looking for people who can work as part of a team and be flexible to support all CTO teams when required. You’ll have a good standard of education, an overall knowledge of Microsoft applications and able to process/input high volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
You’ll also require good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with the public on the telephone and in writing, and to work with other team members to achieve desired outcomes.
