Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of policing technology in Lincolnshire? We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join our ICT department as a Command and Control (C&C) System Configuration Specialist.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the operational effectiveness of Lincolnshire Police by supporting and configuring mission-critical systems that underpin emergency response and frontline policing.

About the Role

As a C&C System Configuration Specialist, you will:

  • Provide expert support and advice on the configuration and administration of the C&C suite of systems and Pronto.
  • Implement and test new business designs and software releases, ensuring functionality aligns with operational needs.
  • Maintain a deep technical and business understanding of core police systems and associated interfaces.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in line with the policing Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective system configuration and administration services, including defect resolution and user requirement analysis.
  • Support system change processes and document all configuration changes appropriately.
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance following system updates.
  • Analyse data, produce reports, and provide recommendations to enhance system efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and security, ensuring access controls are maintained and audited.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders.
