Salary per annum £84,177 - £99,015

Basis: Permanent

Norfolk Constabulary is seeking dynamic, values-driven leaders to join our team as Superintendents. Our Chief Constable is seeking to appoint Superintendents who will work alongside him to deliver the vision and mission of the constabulary.

We’re recruiting for both uniformed and detective roles, with posting preferences considered. Successful candidates will work closely with colleagues across Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking policing environment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the role of Superintendent candidates must meet the following three conditions:

Current substantive Chief Inspector seeking promotion or substantive Superintendent seeking level transfer.

Is not currently under a formal stage for UPP.

Is not currently under a formal investigation for conduct.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Operational competence and leadership.

Evidence of discretionary effort and commitment to development.

Relevant experience such as SIO, PIP, TFC, Public Order, or on-call responsibilities.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a stakeholder panel and board interview.
