You'll play a crucial role in conducting drug tests for Integrated Offender Management (IOM) offenders and other related cases, ensuring that evidential samples are captured accurately, and the Criminal Justice process is followed meticulously. What you’ll do
- Conduct drug testing with Integrated Offender Management (IOM) offenders who come into custody and other trigger related offences.
- Ensure timely onward referrals are made for positive tests in conjunction with colleagues commissioned within Custody and the recovery partnerships.
- Undertake data input in relation to intelligence ratings into Force computerised systems, ensuring all information is entered in a timely and accurate fashion, to meet deadlines.
- Quality assure data input, checking accuracy of information and clarifying anomalies as necessary, in order to ensure information input is accurate.
- Maintain appropriate records and tracking of any potential future learnings or missed opportunities to enable process improvements and delivery of services.
- Provide a range of management information and other statistical information to internal groups and authorised persons in accordance with agreed local procedures in an efficient and timely manner.

Terms of appointment
This is a fixed term role subject to a six-month probationary period.
If you are successful in your application, you will have a six-month probation period with us where you will be unable to apply for any other post advertised internally or externally.
