District Intelligence Analyst
Two full-time permanent position (37 hours per week)
For West Yorkshire Police officers, this role will be a permanent posting.
For regional based officers who apply from regional forces this role will be for a secondment post and will need SLT approval.

West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint Analysts to work in its Protective Services Crime with posts supporting District and NPT analysis of crime and intelligence issues.
This job involves gathering and interpreting information to assist Senior Leaders in their decision making.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an analytical mindset who can demonstrate their ability to provide accurate actionable and timely analysis. A knowledge of analytical techniques is preferable and/ or previous experience in a law enforcement role. Excellent communication skills are essential as this role frequently present findings to key decision makers.

All Analysts work flexible hours Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid role and successful applicants will have the opportunity to work both remotely and within the office once fully trained.
As this is a Career Progression Scheme, candidates may be considered to start further along the progression scheme, if they possess the requisite experience and knowledge.
