About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for members of Police Staff to work as part of a team of Offender Managers who are responsible for the management of Registered Sex offenders, within Staffordshire.
We have anticipated vacancies at a number of our sites, including Burton, Burslem and Longton.
The role of the Offender Managers is to provide a response to policing the requirements of the Sex Offenders’ Act 2003, with particular emphasis on notification offences, breaches of Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPOs), and Sexual Risk Orders (SROs).
Additionally, Offender Managers are responsible for monitoring, risk assessing and managing registered sex offenders and potentially dangerous persons within the remit of the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements.
