Administrator/Property Stores Person

Are you looking for a varied and hands-on role within Lincolnshire Police? We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Administrator/Property Stores Person to join our team, providing essential support to officers and staff across the Force.

This is a unique opportunity to work across both evidential property management and facilities administration, ensuring the smooth running of station operations and the secure handling of property and evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Evidential Property Management

Receive, store, retrieve, and dispose of crime-related property including drugs, money, firearms, and general items.
Maintain accurate records using the NICHE system.
Prepare exhibits for forensic examination and ensure secure packaging and tracking.
Ensure safe and compliant storage of hazardous and valuable items.
Liaise with officers, external agencies, and the public regarding property queries and returns.
Assist with property audits and provide information to support investigations.

Facilities & Administrative Support

Act as a local contact for building maintenance and health & safety issues.
Escort contractors and update facilities databases.
Manage stock levels for stationery, fuel, and operational equipment.
Handle requisitions and petty cash, and support fleet servicing and repairs.
Download and manage CCTV footage in line with policy.
Provide general administrative support including mail handling, filing, and welfare arrangements.

Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting and working in varied conditions.
Good IT skills and familiarity with police systems (training provided).
Understanding of Data Protection and safeguarding responsibilities.
