Non-Accredited Financial Investigator - Cryptocurrency
Uncover digital assets and disrupt criminal networks.
As Financial Investigator for East Midlands Special Operations Unit, you will plan financial investigations to uncover and recover cryptocurrency and digital assets and investigate money laundering. You will produce witness statements and attend court to give evidence.
You’ll be
- Planning investigations ensuring they are conducted thoroughly
- Identifying criminally obtained assets and conducting confiscation inquiries
- Providing specialist financial investigation advise to a range of stakeholders
You must have
Full details of the essential criteria are listed on the job description and include:
- A National Crime Agency (NCA) accreditation as a Financial Investigator, or be willing to attain this once in role
- Knowledge of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and have an active interest in Financial Crime, Technology and Cryptocurrency
- The ability to write concise reports, criminal files and civil files
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have 5 years’ continuous residency in the UK.
