This role is open to all Police Staff / external candidates who meet the essential criteria of the person spec, regardless of current grade.

About the role
Our Stable Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stables, including the welfare of our horses; overseeing the training and development of Mounted Officers and staff working at the stables; and supporting effective risk and budget management. Our Mounted Officers and Horses are involved in a range of public order and ceremonial events across both the City of London and elsewhere, and our Stable Manager is key to help ensuring that our horses are well-cared for; that our Mounted Officers are well-trained and equipped; and that our stable is well-managed.

Selection Process
As part of the initial application process, you will be asked to evidence how your experience, skills, and knowledge demonstrate your ability to meet the person specification of the role.
The application and interview will be tested under Level 2 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job description will not be considered.
