£39,813.00 - £42,897.00 per annum
West Yorkshire Police is looking for a forward-thinking and creative Resourcing Consultant – Attraction to help shape the future of recruitment across the Force. This is a key role within the Workforce Planning & Resourcing team, focused on designing and delivering innovative attraction strategies that connect the organisation with the talent it needs—now and for the future.
As a Resourcing Consultant – Attraction, you will:
•Lead the development of attraction campaigns that reflect the Force’s values and strategic priorities.
•Champion the recruitment brand across digital platforms, publications, and events.
•Design and deliver marketing initiatives, including social media content and external engagement.
•Plan and manage recruitment events, working closely with internal stakeholders.
•Conduct market research and adapt strategies to respond to labour market trends.
•Monitor campaign performance and develop metrics to drive continuous improvement.
•Create high-quality promotional materials and maintain Resourcing webpages.
•Support the recruitment of specialist and hard-to-fill roles through tailored approaches.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
•A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
•Hands-on experience across the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing.
•Strong understanding of equality legislation and inclusive recruitment practices.
•Proven ability to design and implement attraction strategies.
•Confidence in using social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, for networking.
•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
•Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
•Knowledge of recruitment trends and labour market insights.
•Willingness and ability to travel across the Force area and nationally.
•Flexibility to adapt within a dynamic and evolving environment.
