Kent & Essex Police are recruiting for individual(s) to undertake the role of Intelligence Clerk within the Intelligence Bureau at Chelmsford Police Station Essex or North Kent (Agile working options available in line with force protocol)
There are at least two vacancies and a pool for the role, located in Northfleet, Kent or Chelmsford Police Station, Essex.
This role forms part of the Serious Crime Directorate and the successful candidate will be part of a team assisting in providing administrative support to the Intelligence Bureau, inputting Intelligence Reports and conducting research on computer based Police systems.
Good IT skills are desirable as the role requires constant use of various IT applications including but not limited to Outlook, Excel and Word. The candidate should have an interest in researching as the role involves regular use of Police National Database on behalf of the Forces, with the ability to conduct complex searches.

You will work closely in support of Intelligence Support Officers within the Intelligence Bureau.
This opportunity would suit a highly motivated individual who can bring their experience of administration and organisation to the role.
The full-time post holder will be required to work a shift pattern Monday to Friday between 0730 and 1800. (One week 0730-1530, one week 1000-1800)

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £24,768.00.
