Contracts Officer
Based at Griffin Park Tactical Training Centre, Calder Bridge, Cumbria (hybrid)
Salary up to £35,174 per annum plus a generous benefits package

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. We’re looking for a Contracts Officer to join our Organisational Support Services team to administer and maintain the data within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the department, including supplier and contract management information. You’ll provide the first line of defence against commercial fraud by devising and implementing detailed and forensic commercial processes, procedures and an audit process to ensure accuracy of data in the system. You’ll take control of the management of the CNC register of approved suppliers; and manage the ERP supplier portal and catalogue system to maximise benefits.
Confident with data analysis; part of your role will be collecting and analysing procurement and management data for wider purposes including investment decisions, compliance reporting and the collection of statutory and regulatory sustainability data.
To be successful in the role you’ll have experience of working with ERP systems, and the ability to provide assistance and advice in relation to system functions, and Microsoft Office packages. You’ll have working knowledge of counter-fraud processes, and monitoring and working to service level agreements. You’ll be exceptionally organised with great interpersonal and communication skills. If you don’t hold Professional qualifications, a willingness to acquire these would be desirable, as we are keen to support our staff to upskill.
