Job Title: Leadership Academy Strategic Evaluation & Insights Lead

Salary: The starting salary is £59,839, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.

The salary is broken down as £56,911 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £69,342.  Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Location: Central London locations, Hendon, Marlowe House, NSY and potentially other locations across the MPS.


The Met's new Leadership Academy is looking for ambitious and forward-thinking team members to join a dynamic team committed to delivering contemporary and impactful learning for our leaders. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of leadership development within the Met. 

The role holder will be responsible for co-creating the strategic evaluation and insight plan to cover the entirety of Leadership Academy programmes and products whilst ensuring alignment to the organisation’s strategic priorities, notably a New Met for London. This post must focus and proactively contribute to the attainment of Academy goals, define, and implement effective measurement tools to gather, reflect, respond and report leadership programme insights and performance.

Critical to success, this role must champion leadership development and supporting activity by building effective relationships across the organisation, this includes external stakeholders (College of Policing, Local Government, and industry experts). These relationships must help evolve the Academy’s strategic thinking and develop short, medium and long-term leadership initiatives such as how leadership programmes feed into and align.
