- S25-254 Force Chronicle Administrator (LC5)
Lancashire Constabulary is looking for a Force Chronicle Administrator to join our team, based at Hutton Headquarters.
Become a valued member of the Lancashire Chronicle Team (part of the North-West Chronicle Collaboration) recording training, accreditation and operational deployments for specialist roles in Firearms, Public Order Public Safety, Civil Contingencies, Mounted and Dogs.
The role is responsible for undertaking the functions of the Chronicle Administrator and to contribute to the development and maintenance of the Chronicle computer system. To ensure that the supporting processes, documents and information is accurately recorded and installed thereby ensuring accurate data is available to provide timely management information in relation to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record all relevant information relating to Training and Operations for the Modules of Chronicle adopted by your force.
- Facilitate the booking of officers onto training before they expire in all relevant role profiles to ensure force capability remains constant and proportionate.
- Manage user profiles when officers move departments, gain or lose specialisms or transfer to different forces.
- Liaise with your force Firearms Training Manager and update and manage the Firearms “Planned Events Booking system”

Skills and Experience:
- Experience of using computerised information systems in a policing environment.
- To have a working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, including Information Security implications.
Experience of working with policy, procedures and Training Modules and how software systems are used to effectively support them.
Vetting and Medical:
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Management Vetting (MV). Please be aware there is a minimum 5 year UK residency required for Management Vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
