Violence Against Women and Girls - Youth Engagement Co-ordinator

To work in the Education Team within the Prevention Hub, this team is responsible for implementing Lincolnshire Polices’ approach to youth engagement.The post holder will be responsible for three distinctive strands of our youth engagement strategy. Creation and Development, Delivery and Coordination. Primarily, the post holder will be required to deliver existing content whilst also researching, creating and evolving the Violence Against Women and Girls Education workshops to Primary and Secondary schools across Lincolnshire. They will also be responsible for delivery and training to parents and education groups dependant on level of need. The message has to be relevant, consistent and engaging, helping to impact the lives of young people across Lincolnshire. You will work within the Youth Education team and will link in with the police cadets, neighbourhood policing teams and education establishments across the county.

The role will work with the Chief Constables vision for Lincolnshire Police and all staff involved in carrying out functions in accordance with the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to encourage personal responsibility and the exercise of professional judgement; empowering everyone in policing to do the right thing.

 Shift Pattern:

0800 -1600 Monday - Thursday

0800-1530 Friday

This will be a flexible pattern with some early starts and late finishes.

For internal candidates this could be a secondment opportunity but you must receive support from your head of department to do so, otherwise this will be a fixed term contract.
