Crime Scene Investigator – Deputy Technical Manager

Cheshire Police is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to support the delivery of high-quality forensic services in the role of Deputy Technical Manager . This is a key position within the Crime Scene Investigation team, contributing to the technical and operational delivery of crime scene examinations in line with national standards.

Key Requirements:

Must be qualified to CSI Stage 1 and Stage 2 (or equivalent).
Ideally currently competent in a CSI operational role.
Proven knowledge and experience of working within Quality Management Systems (ISO 17020)
Detailed understanding of the Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Practice and Conduct.
Experience in writing scientific and technical reports to a professional standard.
