Sc 4 - Investigation Support Officer, HOLMES

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the force's Major Investigation Team as an Investigation Support Officer (HOLMES indexer).

This role will require the candidate to work within the Major Investigation Room, supporting Homicide and other Major Investigations as an integral member of the team. The role requires the successful candidate to take on research, indexing and administration tasks within HOLMES in accordance with the MIRSAP principles.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel anywhere within the force area and will be required to sit and pass the nationally accredited HOLMES indexer course.

Candidates will need to be available to attend an assessment session (8th – 13th August 2025) prior to any invitation of formal interview.

Working Days to be negotiated at interview stage - Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Friday
