OPCC Compliance Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire to cover the role of Compliance Officer for a 6 month period to cover maternity leave.The role of the Compliance Officer is integral to the work of the Commissioner, the team and to the smooth running of the office, to contribute to achieving the vision, purpose and values of Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
As a Compliance Officer you will assist the Head of Governance and Transparency and the Performance and Accountability Manager with all compliance and governance duties. This includes:
Freedom of Information Requests
Subject Access Requests
Deal with a range of enquiries, some complex, either in written form, personal contact or by telephone.
Managing a range of independent scrutiny panels
Updating internal policies and protocols
Assisting with the preparation of papers for internal and external meetings.
Ensure that all documents are completed by all staff to ensure compliance against the Specified Information Order.
