Chief Superintendent - Head of Road Policing

Police Scotland invites applications from Chief Superintendents and Superintendents wishing to apply for substantive promotion having been in substantive rank for a minimum of 2 years, for Police Scotland’s Head of Road Policing.


In this exciting but challenging role, you will take ownership in delivering the strategic and tactical direction of all Road Policing assets and service delivery in accordance with Scotland’s national Road Safety Framework and Road Crime Strategy. You will provide strategic leadership in matters of Public Safety on our roads through key partnership engagement, ensuring that all policies, practice, and processes are delivered and implemented across Police Scotland in accordance with national standards. In this role you will mould and shape the Forces 2030 Vision into daily practice as well as developing opportunities for improved strategic partnership working, to positively impact the people, places, and communities across Scotland.

 

You will be eligible to claim a range of relocation expenses including removal costs, storage fees, legal, estate agent and surveyor fees associated with the purchase of a home in Scotland (further details can be provided upon request).
