Firearms Licensing Administrator - Police Staff
1 x Temporary 12-month FTC working 26 hours per week on a flexi time basis
Monday to Friday – flexible start times between 07:00 and 10:00 and flexible finish times between 15:30 and 18:30
We have an exciting opportunity for an effective, professional and proactive Administrator to join our Firearms Licensing Team based at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Working in an administration role, you will deliver a high-quality Firearms Licensing service for the Force.
Reporting to the Admin Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for processing all aspects of the licensing of firearms, shotguns and explosives certificates and associated activities. We are seeking someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and IT skills.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in the operation of computers Microsoft and database systems. The post holder will be organised and self-motivated, flexible and be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision. It is also important to be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
