Full time, consisting of both permanent and temporary hours, based at HQ Penrith
We are looking to recruit a full time Administration Assistant to join our Employee Services team. If you are highly motivated, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a small and friendly team, have great attention to detail and want to be someone who supports the delivery of Policing Services to the people of Cumbria, then this role could be for you.
As the post holder your responsibilities will include supporting individuals through the recruitment process, handling and processing HR, payroll and pensions data, as well as updating and maintaining our HR and payroll systems. This is a varied role with lots of opportunity to learn new skills. Full training and support will be provided, and work will be in line with established processes and procedures.

We offer a salary of £24,258, access to the local government pension scheme with free life assurance cover and holidays starting at 24 days per annum excluding bank holidays. The Constabulary actively supports work life balance though the provision of a generous flexible working scheme.
The role will be full time, contracted to 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
The post is based at Cumbria Constabulary Headquarters in Penrith, however once training has been provided there will be the opportunity for some agile working from home.
