Police Support Volunteer - Vehicle Washing

Why not join our Police Support Volunteer team with your compassion and enthusiasm to support our Fleet Department.

Our Fleet Department look after and maintain all Police Vehicles (marked and unmarked). It is important to us that while our vehicles are out on the roads of Hertfordshire that they look their best.

This is where you are needed, we are looking for committed Police Support Volunteers (ideally holding a driving licence) to wash our vehicles that have recently undergone maintenance, body repairs or service. This role is based in our fleet workshop at our Constabulary Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City. The hours required will depend on your availability or the requirements of the Fleet Department you can do as much or as little as you like but can be no more 15 hours maximum per week.

As a Police Support Volunteer, you will become part of our wider team of Volunteers we have based around the county.

We are looking for committed volunteers with good interpersonal skills and able to undertake the role with pride.

The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and reimburses travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.
