We’re looking for a motivated ICT Stores Assistant to join our dynamic Service Delivery Team. Based in Northallerton, you will be an integral part of the Service Delivery team. You will contribute to maintaining and building ICT equipment supporting the ICT technology strategy and road map which is intrinsically linked to the organisational priorities of the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioning (OPFCC), North Yorkshire Police (NYP), and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (NYFRS).

Key responsibilities:
- Procurement of all low value items up to £1000.
- The delivery of all material to NYFRS and NYP locations across North Yorkshire
- Maintaining an audit trail of all ordering, issuing and receiving of stock in line with NYP & NYFRS polices.
- Support effective and positive engagement with clients across the organisation providing feedback to line management to ensure the service offering meets current and future business needs.
- Ensuring inventory is processed, organised and stored, you will also pick, pack all material for onward distribution.
- Collaborate with colleagues across ICT to ensure a seamless, “one service” experience for users.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have a full UK clean driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.
- Be educated to higher education level in a relevant discipline or be able to demonstrate experience of working in an ICT service support function within a busy multi-disciplined ICT service.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of diverse and demanding customers across a variety of platforms.
- You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and IT systems, have a high level of attention to detail and be comfortable with producing accurate data and information.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
