Our Organisational Learning, Partnership and Inspection Team (OLPIT) is looking for a coordinator to join their busy team. Your role will be to coordinate, create and administer procedures and processes to support colleagues in the team and across the force to access and apply learning from research and evaluation.
This post is offered with Hybrid working, usually 2-3 days in a force location with your team and the rest working at home.
You will be one of two coordinators in the team and, while your roles will carry different responsibilities, it is expected that you will both become omni-competent, in order to increase resilience.
Your role on any day may include tasks such as:
- Develop and manage trackers that schedule and monitor the life cycle of academic and in house research activity.
- Support research and evaluation activity being undertaken by OLPIT and across the force.
- Develop and maintain the Corporate Memory library of research and evaluation products.
- Assist with outward facing research, e.g. by conducting literature reviews and/or exploring approaches taken by other forces.
- You will have editing rights to your team’s Intranet pages, and part of your role will be to creatively update and maintain those pages as required.
- Assist with the generation of targeted communication from the team to disseminate key learning and recommendations from research; evaluation or environmental scanning and promote the concept of evidence based policing.

Do you have proven, advanced IT skills and experience, including the use of MS Office 365 applications and SharePoint?
Can you use a variety of sources to research, analyse, evaluate and interpret information and use your findings to solve problems?
Can you manage your own time and workload with minimal supervision?
Do you have good written and verbal communication skills and a strong focus on customer service?
Are you educated to QCF Level 2 or have relevant experience that would equate to this level?
