CTP Wales Senior Intelligence Analyst
Applications are invited for the post of Counter Terrorism Policing Wales (CTP Wales) - Senior Intelligence Analyst.
Under the direction of the CTP Wales Head of Analysis this role will manage, supervise and develop the CTP Wales analyst and research team to provide strategic, tactical and operational analytical capability to CTP Wales, contributing to the CTP Wales mission of working in partnership to keep Wales safe from Terrorism and the fear of Terrorism.
The postholder will ensure the activities conducted are undertaken in accordance with standards set by the Home Office, National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC), Analysis and Research Capability Board, Professional Head of Analysis and police policies concerning those activities.
The successful candidate will manage the delivery of performance analysis for CTP Wales to support all CTP Wales capabilities and to ensure CTP Wales performance is accurately represented within National CTP performance forums. They will maintain, develop, and promote the professionalism of analysis and research within CTP Wales.
The postholder will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external partners, promoting and advocating for CTP Wales analysis and research.
This post requires the successful candidate to successfully complete Vetting to MV/SC Level and DV (Developed Vetting) Level.
The post will also require the successful completion of an additional security induction process, part of which requires pre-screening checks of nationality and foreign connections. It must be stressed that this is in addition to Developed Vetting or Force Management Vetting. Candidates must achieve both clearances to take up this post.
Employment within Counter Terrorism Policing requires applicants for the role to undertake a further security induction for which British citizenship is required. Failure to hold citizenship would preclude persons for applying for these positions.
