Network and Security Analyst

The role of IT Network & Security Analyst will have many responsibilities ensuring that the Lincolnshire Police Force is maintaining high security standards and adhering to national security expectations, principles, policies and procedures.

The role will be expected to work closely with other IT teams on projects to ensure that security standards are met and enforced where necessary and systems are inducted into a standardised monitoring platform with appropriate monitoring and alerting metrics.

The position holder will work closely with our Information Management Unit to ensure security best practises are being adhered to and to take ownership for driving IT health checks and remediation plans off the back of these reports.

The role will be the driving force behind ensuring that software, services, systems and devices are all up to date with the latest and most secure patches.

Responsible for the various network and security logging systems, such as the office 365 security platform and Solar Winds to monitor and react to threats proactively.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 0830-1630 Fridays 0830-1600

Salary: Grade- SG1 £33,264 - £37,692
