West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit 3 Digital Supply Chain Asset Analysts to join Digital Policing Directorate based in Wakefield.
As part of the Digital Innovation team, you will proactively support the lifecycle of all West Yorkshire IT Assets e.g. desktops, Laptops, Mobiles, software and licences.
The scope of your responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity of the Asset Database via accurate and timely updating and auditing to certify data quality. Analysing and producing reports on the performance of our assets as well auditing the asset database and taking corrective actions where necessary.
Engagement with IT Suppliers and internal and external stakeholders on the acquisition and disposal of assets providing professional advice on asset management to the organisation and partners to ensure best practice is observed.
Establishing and developing digital supplier relationships to ensure the service received provides best value. Monitoring of key contract performance indicators to ensure effective performance of our suppliers.
Supporting procurement activities and undertaking procurement exercises under £50,000.
The ideal candidates we are looking for will already have experience of managing suppliers and have the ability to build strong relationships. They will also have knowledge of asset lifecycle management and experience in analysing large volumes of data and producing reports.
Furthermore, they will already have experience undertaking auditing activities and already have worked in an IT environment.
