We are offering a great opportunity for you to join our multi-disciplinary Occupational Health, Team in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire.
We are looking at 1 fulltime role or would consider part time options also. All posts will have a blend of onsite and remote working during the week.
The Senior Occupational Health Advisor post is based at Welwyn Garden City with travel across BCH site to cover meetings and work demands when needed. You will be working in partnership with another Senior OHA in the development of the team, working on clinical compliance, polices, procedures, staff management and assisting with the day to day running of the service. As part of this multi-disciplinary team, you will report to the OHU manager and will assist in the delivery of a professional, evidence based Occupational Health service which meets the needs of the 3 Police Forces. You will have the opportunity to use a range of your Senior OHA skills and experience. Clinical support and ongoing training are paramount to our team. This enables our staff to achieve the right skill mix to excel in their roles. We are looking for an qualified professional who has a solid understanding of current Occupational Health issues and relevant legislation with proven experience of complex case management. We are passionate about supporting our employees with solution focused OH advice, which helps to promote a positive work life balance.
You will be a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse with a qualification in Occupational Health. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. Effective time management skills and IT skills are essential for this role. Previous experience of using OH IT systems would be an advantage.
