Do you want to play a role in helping to tackle some of the most harmful organised crime groups operating across the Eastern region?

In a role where no day is the same, and where you’ll be helping to incarcerate some of our region’s most dangerous criminals?

ERSOU is currently recruiting for the Eastern and Southern Investigation Team.

We’re looking for a number of PCs and DCs to join us, with full training being provided, but are especially interested in officers who already hold the Q1 qualification.

Location

Please note there are two positions available for this role. One in the East (Essex) and the other in the South (Dunstable). Exact locations will be disclosed/confirmed at interview.

About ERSOU

ERSOU is an organisation funded by the seven police forces that make up the Eastern region. Its vision is to protect the public from the threat of serious and organised crime and terrorism across the region. ERSOU has two main functions: Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) and Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP).

The aim of the ROCU is primarily to identify and disrupt organised criminals operating across the Eastern Region. Officers and staff in the unit tackle a range of crime – from child sexual exploitation and modern slavery to county lines and cybercrime. The ROCU consists of directorates which provide specialist capabilities including intelligence, economic and cyber.
