This role is open to all Police Staff / external candidates who meet the essential criteria of the person spec, regardless of current grade.

About the team
The National Economic Crime Victim Care Unit (NECVCU) sits within Victim Services and provides initial assessment to the needs of victims when referred from Action Fraud, and to commission a range of services to support identified needs.
About the role
The Deputy Service Deliver Manager will have oversight of both our non-vulnerable and vulnerable victim support service to ensure a full understanding of the service whilst having day to day line management responsibility for one.
Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provide leadership and support to Team Leaders and other supervisory roles within the NECVCU.
Provide suitable recommendations to other agencies and approved service suppliers for further support.
Oversee, coordinate and monitor the recording of work and management of data to ensure agreed performance measures are met for service delivery in accordance with organisational strategies.
Coordinate and monitor outputs and performance to ensure quality of service is maintained.
Contribute to the development, review and implementation of unit processes as required.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve service delivery issues as appropriate.
Requirements
For this role, an example of experience we need you to have:
Proven track record of managing teams in the delivery of customer-focussed services.
Experience of monitoring and coordinating activities according to agreed performance standards, targets, systems and procedures
Proven track record in change management programmes
Ability to monitor, coordinate and oversee data management, performance and processes in the delivery of a victim care service in accordance with the goals and objectives of CoLP and NECVCU.
Proven Leadership skills

Selection Process
As part of the initial application process, you will be asked to evidence how your experience, skills, and knowledge demonstrate your ability to meet the person specification of the role.
The application and interview will be tested under Level 2 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job description will not be considered.
