Regional Recruitment Officer

Location – Scotland or North East England (remote working with regular travel across the region)
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary up to £35,854 plus generous benefits package

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that’s dedicated to the nuclear industry. We’re looking for a Regional Recruitment Officer to work as part of our regional talent acquisition hub, and manage Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) Resourcing demands within Scotland and the North East of England. 

As a Regional Recruitment Officer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring sufficient quality and diverse talent pools are available through candidate generation and robust candidate pipeline management. You will deliver a positive candidate experience regardless of the outcome, managing the recruitment lifecycle from start to finish. 

This role will involve building relationships with our locally based recruitment champions, EDI team and operational management; ensuring there is an efficient recruitment process, as well as developing your own regional knowledge. You will support the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with the design of regional attraction strategies to meet current and future organisational requirements and ensure effective candidate pipeline management.  You will also support the HR talent acquisition team in establishment of innovative tools, techniques and attraction strategies. 

To be successful in this role we need an individual who has high volume recruitment experience – ideally working within an internal recruitment team facilitating assessment and selection days. You will enjoy keeping a record and delivering your work to KPI’s, be excellent at providing analysis and data to report on candidate pipelines and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. As an experienced recruiter, you will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You’ll be skilled in using an ATS (ideally Oracle Recruiting Cloud).

This role is a remote/home working role, with travel to sites within your region. 

Interviews for this position will take place virtually on Thursday 29th May.
