S6-SO1/2-Intelligence Analyst (County Lines)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the FIB Intelligence Analysis Team working on Operation Apollo. Through the production and presentation of analytical products you will help drive decision making at an operational level across the force in respect of our county lines response. (Please be aware that this may include presenting evidence. The intelligence analyst's role is a progressive one. The role holders existing skills in research and analysis are further developed through training and accreditation in Intelligence Analysis Techniques and a variety of Information/Software Systems. The role has a career grading from Scale 6 up to the SO1/2, to recognise professional development and analysis skill progression in this dynamic role.
After shortlisting of applications has taken place, there will be an assessment process regarding data handling and analysis in Excel. The final selection process will include a practical exercise in identifying and prioritising threat, risk and harm, and a panel interview.
