Asset Reconciliation Manager

An opportunity has arisen to lead a team of Asset Reconciliation Staff as part of the Vehicle Recovery Service team. This management role will see you leading the team in their role of researching information in relation to the ownership of vehicles currently held by law enforcement agencies before return, retention or disposal. The post holder will oversee the decision-making and ratification of the release of vehicles under the scheme where ownership is not established.
The successful candidate will provide day to day management of the Asset Reconciliation Team within the Vehicle Recovery Scheme who are responsible for administering all aspects of Operation Torchlight. You will monitor and evaluate working practices, maintain and provide accurate financial information and ensure the efficient and effective operation of the team.

Capability to travel to different locations across the Force. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working, public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full driving licence is considered essential.
