This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the ongoing development of workforce planning activities in Force, which focus on ensuring we have right number of people with the right skills employed in the right place at the right time.
Working within HR Shared Services, you will be a subject matter expert and provide professional advice and guidance in support of a range of complex resourcing matters, at both a strategic and tactical level.
The Role:
Providing advice and guidance on escalated, varied and complex issues relating to area of work.
• Assess requirements of customers and provide adequate support, advice and guidance
• Develop, propose and implement appropriate workforce planning interventions
• Organise and manage the day-to-day provision of accurate HR workforce information to inform strategic and operational resourcing decisions.
• Effectively engage with internal colleagues across a range of support departments to ensure a coordinated approach to the management of resources to meet operational needs
Your Experience:
• You must have experience of providing advice and guidance to line managers on complex workforce planning or resourcing matters
• You will have detailed understanding of Workforce Planning challenges that affect policing
• You will have experience of advising, negotiating and influencing at all levels.
• You must have direct experience of managing HR data and understand how it should be used to inform strategic and operational decision making.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
