Wales Cyber Resilience Centre Manager
Applications are invited for the post of Wales Cyber Resilience Centre Manager.
The Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) Network comprises nine regional Centres, under the overarching strategic leadership of the NPCC Lead for Cybercrime. The Network was formed to help smaller organisations strengthen their cyber resilience and better protect themselves and their supply chain against cyber-crime.
The CRC Network is funded by the Home Office and is a key part of the Resilience Pillar of the National Cybercrime Strategy, working in close alignment with police Cyber and Fraud Protect Teams across England and Wales.
As strategic lead for the Wales Cyber Resilience Centre, the lead will hold critical responsibility for the building of effective and sustainable external partnerships across Wales, to work in collaboration to improve the cyber security posture of small business owners.
In addition, this role will be responsible for working collaboratively with internal policing colleagues across the Wales region in the promoting, supporting, and delivering key aspects of the national cybercrime strategy.
This role will hold overall responsibility for the creation, planning, and implementation of all operational aspects of the Centre’s day to day activities, implementing national CRC strategy in a way that is most effective for Welsh communities. This role will line manage CRC staff, and influence wider policing colleagues to support the centre and amplify key messaging.
This post requires the successful candidate to successfully complete Vetting to MV/SC Level. Candidates must achieve both clearances to take up this post.
