We have a new rewarding and fulfilling opportunity to help victims of anti-social behaviour. We need your help to offer initial support to victims, providing reassurance and comfort.

Ideally, we need your help 8 hours a week between the office hours of 08:00-16:00. This is flexible and can be spread over a few days. This opportunity will be based at Surrey Police Headquarters located just outside of Guildford Town Centre, however, there may be a requirement to travel to other venues within Surrey – travel expenses will be reimbursed.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

The role of an ASB Support volunteer, you will be making contact with victims who have been identified on our systems via phone call or email. You will need to have good communication skills in order to provide victims with the advice and support they need as well as being able to signpost them to external specialist agencies.

You will be working closely with other relevant teams and attend training and meetings.

Skills & Experience

You will be required to engage confidently and effectively through both written and verbal communication. Administration skills including the ability to use Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and meeting platforms such as Teams or Zoom, is essential.

Previous experience of volunteering and/or working within a police environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
