We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Project Support Officer in the Joint Digital Services Division.

About the team/Department you will be joining

  • The Joint Digital Services Division (DSD) delivers a joint digital strategy across Gwent Police and South Wales Police to enable both forces to develop and implement new ways of working and deliver policing to our communities.
  • The role will sit within the Business Support branch of DSD which help support projects and the other 3 branches of DSD.
  • Our office is based at South Wales Police Headquarters in Bridgend, but we offer a hybrid working policy which supports working from your home. 

About the role and your key responsibilities

  • The role will work on the Project Support Team for both South Wales Police and Gwent Police.
  • The Project Support Officer will be providing support to the teams involved in introducing change and will include detailed project planning, organising resources, arranging and minuting meetings.
  • Also, they will have a key role in the preparation of project documentation for board meetings. 

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role

  • If you have experience in delivering or playing a key role within projects, we’d love to hear from you.
  • We are looking for someone who is computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Proven experience in problem solving and experience with basic computer systems is essential for the role.
  • Being a strong team player with a willingness to take responsibility for work whilst displaying good communication skills.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting. 

This role is suitable for part time/job share workers.
