Volunteer Unit Leader and Cadet Leaders - Bristol
We have a unique opportunity for a Volunteer Unit Leader and Cadet Leaders to be part of our New Bristol Volunteer Police Cadet Unit.
Our cadet units offer young people (ages 13-17) the opportunity to learn about careers in policing, support their community, and develop valuable life skills like communication and problem-solving, all within a fun and safe environment.
Leaders will plan and lead activities during the weekly meetings, held on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm during term time, at Kenneth Steele House in Central Bristol.
No prior knowledge of policing is required, as we will provide all the necessary training and resources. You’ll be supported by local policing teams and the Citizens in Policing team, who will stay in regular contact to assist with any questions you may have. Additionally, you’ll have access to a handbook and toolkit for guidance and support.
This role is incredibly rewarding, offering you the opportunity to make a real difference and positively impact the lives of young people in your community. The experiences shared by our current leaders and former cadets speak volumes—please take a look at the attached document to find out more.
