Constable - National Firearms Instructor

We are currently looking to recruit two National Firearms Instructors, based at our Headquarters in Nettleham.

The successful candidates will develop and deliver training in order to maintain an effective operational armed policing capability for Lincolnshire Police. You will ensure that the training provided is compliant with the National Police Firearms Training Curriculum (NPFT) and APP Armed Policing. Also that training meets the needs of Lincolnshire as identified in the Armed Policing Strategic Threat and Risk Assessment.

The postholder will provide specialist advice and representation to agencies, partners and colleagues to support local objectives in respect of firearms training and related operational matters on an on-call basis.
