Police Support Volunteer - Driver
Why not join our Police Support Volunteer team with your compassion and enthusiasm to support our Volunteer Police Cadets. Hertfordshire Police Cadets are young members of the community, aged between 13 and 18, that participate in a wide range of activities and events. As well as learning about police procedures and the law, cadets also play a vital role in community events, engaging with members of the public and educating them on crime prevention. We are looking for committed Police Support Volunteers specifically with a D1 category on their driving licence to help the Volunteer Police Cadets with travel around the county on an ad-hoc basis. This will be specifically driving a minibus that will be based at our Constabulary Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.
As a Police Support Volunteer, you will become part of our wider team of Volunteers we have based around the county.
We are looking for committed volunteers with good interpersonal skills and able to undertake the required training on Police systems.
The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and reimburses travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.
