Job Title: Deployment Administrator
Salary: The starting salary is £34,808, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £31,880 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £34,108. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

This is an exciting opportunity within the Workforce Planning and Deployment Team of the Metropolitan Police, supporting the direction for the Corporate Workforce Planning and Insight team, through delivery of forecasts & models for all c.50, 000 people into 70+ business units and operational OCUs.

Duties and Responsibilities –
Provide Administration to the Operational Deployment teams ensuring the correct data is available and tools updated to enable business decisions on workforce impacts for current year.
- Management of work queue and emails through triage and signposting queries to relevant team members and responding directly as appropriate.
- Ensure information held on PSOP (or equivalent) is accurate and updates are provided in an efficient & timely manner for processing.
- Responsible for the completion of data quality activity in relation to postings.
- Responsible for managing panel room bookings and associated facilities to support senior panels.
- Following governance processes and completing all checks and balances to ensure authorisation to progress VMAF adverts.
- Collaborate with Deployment Officers to highlight repeat queries and build effective FAQs.
- Support Deployment Officers and Operational Planning Colleagues in BAU deployment activities including officers, staff, PCSOs, Adjusted Duties officers, Secondment postings, Career Break Returners.
- Administrative support to maintain accurate logs of deployment activity and update key information sources and platforms.
- Provide support to workforce planning processes, producing management information to support decisions.
