Salary: Starting salary is £68,100 + £6,710 London Weighting and a £200 London Weighting Supplement

About the team
You will be working as part of a cross-government programme delivery team, within the National Lead Force Directorate of the City of London Police.
City of London Police are the National Lead Force for fraud. An essential element of National Lead Force status is to engage with strategic partners across government and industry at the highest level to deliver innovative transformation programmes on behalf of the Home Office.
This role will be leading a programme delivery team across government agencies, including staff within the City of London Police, and working closely with senior leadership within National Lead Force Directorate.
About the role
You will lead and manage a change programme within the City of London Police including key stakeholder engagement with the Home Office, National Crime Agency, Regional Organised Crime Units, local police forces and Police & Crime Commissioners.

Responsibilities
In partnership with key stakeholders, i.e. Home Office, UKIC, NCA, Regional Cyber Crime Units and local forces, develop and deliver a business case and implementation plan for a transformation project.
Build close relationships with other police forces, government departments, other public and private sector organisations both nationally and internationally.
Deliver at pace by ensuring the ownership of activity within the implementation plan and by holding partners to account for their contribution.
Ensure effective reporting to a range of key stakeholders takes place at regular intervals.
Ensure resources and expertise are sourced and are available as and when required from across key stakeholders i.e. Home Office, Regional Organised Crime Units, Local Forces, key services within the City of London Police, i.e. Human Resources, Finance and Corporation of City of London.
Requirements
For this role, we need you to have experience of:
Working within the fraud, economic and cybercrime landscape with a high level of knowledge of the threat and current law enforcement response.
Previous experience in, and delivery of, Government led national programmes, preferably within Policing, working within a recognised programme management principles e.g. Managing Successful Programmes, Foundation or Practitioner
Development of – including securing approval of – business cases within the public sector.

Selection Process
As part of the initial application process, you will be asked to evidence how your experience, skills, and knowledge demonstrate your ability to meet the person specification of the role.
The application and interview will be tested under Level 3 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job description will not be considered.
