Derbyshire Constabulary is committed to providing a high-quality policing service to the people of Derbyshire. To support this commitment, we are looking to recruit individuals who share our passion for public service.
We are currently looking for experienced Sergeants to support Response across the county. We may also consider Constables who are within 2 months of completing their Sergeant Work Based Assessments.
We would like to invite applications from transferees who will help us reinforce and monitor our core standards:
- Leaving a professional, respectful, and positive impression on those we deal with.
- Making sure things are dealt with right first time.
- Making a suitable assessment of threat and risk.
- Providing a proportionate and professional response.
- Recognising and addressing vulnerability in all its forms..
- Undertaking a good quality of investigation with the victim at the heart of it

The must haves:-
Substantive Sergeants serving with Home Office Forces. We may also consider Constables who are within 2 months of completing their Sergeant Work Based Assessments
Have a full manual driving licence.
Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues.
