A number of vacancies have arisen for highly motivated cleaning operatives to work within this essential function of Business Support Services, providing a high-quality cleaning service to our officers and staff at the following locations:
Central Manchester
Didsbury
Openshaw
Trafford Park (part time)
Tameside
Sedgley Park (Prestwich Area)
The successful candidates will need experience of working within a cleaning environment previously and are flexible in their approach to work, having an understanding of cleaning equipment and materials and are able to work to the standards and frequency within the cleaning specification, ensuring compliance with GMP policies and procedures and the Health and Safety at Work Policy at all times. Successful candidate will possess good communication skills and be fit to carry out duties including bending, walking, pushing, lifting and handling equipment.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to hold a Full UK Driving license as these positions are based force-wide and candidates will be asked to travel to different locations. Mileage allowance will also be included within this position.
