Mobile Cleaner
Salary: £12.60 per hour (including a Real Living Wage supplement)Location: Southern Area. This role will be based around Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside.
Hours/Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term/Secondment until September 2025.
A driving licence is essential, however a vehicle will be provided for travel during the tour of duty.

The role
Our Business Services team keep things running smoothly for all of us here at Northumbria Police. They are a large team covering various services, including maintenance, health and safety, and supporting Front Line Policing. We’ve got a great opportunity to join the Business Services team as a Mobile Cleaner, where you’ll play an integral part in keeping our stations clean, safe, and functional.
Unlike your typical cleaning role, you’ll be working behind the scenes in our operational police station. You’ll take pride in your work and be part of a fantastic team who work hard to achieve great results. It’s a busy role – with a great sense of achievement at the end of each shift.
