The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU) is looking to appoint a Technical Surveillance Manager within the Regional Technical Surveillance Unit located within Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This specialist department delivers bespoke technical surveillance assistance and solutions in support of both serious and organised crime, and major crime investigations across the whole of the Yorkshire and Humberside region.

We are looking for enthusiastic, organised and dedicated individuals who already have a good technical grounding and managerial experience to become part of this specialist team. The Regional Technical Surveillance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a specialist technical team and the subsequent successful delivery of technical surveillance within the Yorkshire and Humber region. The role is extremely interesting, challenging but also really rewarding and the support we provide the YHROCU, and its constituent forces plays an integral part in the criminal investigations of Serious and Organise crime; and major crime undertaken across the region.

The successful candidate will have further development opportunities through an extensive learning and development program covering technical and managerial courses both internal to the YHROCU and external through the College of Policing.
