We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Operational Business Support Administrator in the Operational Support Unit, at Operational Undefined Services, based at Police Headquarters, Bridgend. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
- We are a small team located at South Wales Police Headquarters, Cowbridge Road, Bridgend, CF31 3SU.
- Our team comprises Administrators, Secretaries and Team Leaders
- We offer agile working; arranged on a rota basis, either from Police Headquarters, Bridgend or from home.
- We work 8am to 4pm / 9am -5pm Monday-Friday
About the role and your key responsibilities:
- We provide administration and secretarial services to managers, officers and staff in a range of operational business areas, supporting teams to deliver their services to the public
- Day to day work involves administration associated to Finance, HR, Health and Safety, Facilities
- The role also includes arranging meetings; liaising with attendees; providing minute taking services and tracking actions
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- We are seeking individuals who are organised, self-motivated and enjoy being a pro-active member of a team
- We are looking for applicants who are competent at communicating and liaising with colleagues at all levels and individuals who enjoy solving problems, with the undefined of the supervisor
- You should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Qualification Criteria
You must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
You must be prepared to work towards a qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Level 3 Business Administration.

Shortlisting for this vacancy will take place on week commencing 31st March.
